I bought these running boards, to make it easier to climb into my truck. They worked great!

They have a nice adjustment, you can adjust how close you want them to the cab. I left a 1" gap between then rail and the cab.

I installed these on my 2013 Ram 1500 pickup, and I'm very pleased with them. The installation was a piece of cake except the one spot where the frame was a little bent on my pickup, but it still worked. The step is sturdy, and there's no likelihood of slipping on them. I purchased mostly for my Uber riders as I'd had a few have a very hard time getting up in my pickup (picture short gals in tight dresses ... it was a challenge!) and now I am less worried about having to pull myself up there if ever I injure my shoulder! Highly recommended, and I don't know why anyone would choose to spend twice as much for something that looks the same!
