Each side had 3 bolts to the frame and 3 bolts to hold the running board. Install took under an hour. I would highly recommend not removing the running board bolts until ready to install as the nut can fall out of the running board housing track. They are difficult to put back in if they fall out. -

Plastic is thinner than stock and there are some odd vent holes with short rubber tubes attached to them while the stock ones were completely sealed. Hopefully they do not get moldy and nasty! Time will tell. They do fit nicely and look good though. -

Tried to show some install pics. Very pleased with these running boards. For less than $200 cant go wrong. Perfect fit. Just be sure you order the correct ones as they offer different sizes based on model/doors/etc. these are on a 2011 Silverado crew cab.
